It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1
Prayer is a personal experience and interaction with God and such it is hard to suggest practices that would enhance our encounters with Him. Personal and spiritual growth often occurs when we modify our practices and like Jesus’ disciples there is no shame in asking to be taught how to pray. Be certain that there are no tricks or formula to “better” pray, however people have gone before us who offer spiritual practices that both enhanced and affected their lives.
