We move into our next part called Jesus, the beloved, only begotten Son. So let’s read Matthew 3:13-17, focusing on verse 17
Saving us from our sins, cost God the Father dearly. When John the Baptist baptized Jesus; we see God reaching down from Heaven and telling all how much he loves His Son. Jesus, the Lamb of God, made the sacrifice for our sins so that we can be reconciled to the Father. Remember when John the Baptist saw Jesus coming, he said “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29) Have you ever looked up the word salvation? It’s a noun meaning preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss. Isn’t that cool? We all want to be safe, so through His sacrifice at Calvary, Jesus became the Saviour of the world. Through his death and resurrection and your faith in the beloved Son of God, you are born again!
Jesus said in John 3:3b “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” His death was sufficient, Jesus paid your debt. We also remember John 3:15-17
Verse of the day…. Matthew 3:17
He is the Redeemer of the world, who died for sinners, the One who is the Soon-coming King!
Have a Great Day!
Keep your head up! GOD gives his hardest battles to his strongest SOLDIERS…
So as we go through our day let us go out to help and to care for all that need it, in Jesus’ name…Amen!
