About Us
MCF – Who Are We?
The MCF of Canada is an inter-denominational body of military men and women committed to Jesus Christ.
The Mission:
To take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the military community in Canada and abroad.
1) To lead military men and women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ;
2) To assist and encourage military Christians to grow in their Christian faith; and
3) To support the Chaplain and the Chapel program.
MCF Basis of Belief:
We believe that the Bible is the word of God. Our statement of faith is the Apostles’ Creed. We believe, therefore, that according to the scriptures, each person is saved by grace through accepting Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Saviour.
Membership:
All serving and retired members of the Canadian Forces and their families who subscribe to our basis of belief are eligible for membership in the MCF. Associate memberships may be granted to civilians who work for the Department of National Defence or those who have another connection or interest in the military ministry.
